Richards Bay FC has completed the signing of Ugandan striker Joel Madondo on a two-year contract. The 28-year-old forward joins the club after a successful trial with the Natal Rich Boys.

Madondo's transfer was confirmed by Eswatini champions Nsingizini Hotspurs, who revealed that Richards Bay met all the required conditions and finalized personal terms with the player. Nsingizini announced in a statement: "The club has received and accepted an offer from Richards Bay FC for the permanent transfer of Joel Madondo. Although his departure comes sooner than expected, we place his future first and appreciate his contribution to the club."
